With a passion for helping others and a knack for multi-tasking, Kelly Petersen is the glue that holds Nold Bryant together.
In her role as client services manager, Kelly works to enhance your overall experience with the team by ensuring you have access to your accounts and all the information necessary to pursue your financial goals. She reviews new business workflows, maintains client records, opens new accounts, implements marketing initiatives, manages the movement of assets, plans events, handles social media, photographs the team for new head shots and group photos, and provides ongoing service and support. And if you’ve ever stopped by the office and noticed all the plants and greenery, Kelly is the one who keeps them thriving.
Kelly started her career in the investment industry in 2016 after previously working in banking for seven years and has been assisting Austin since 2018. She also brings work experience in sales, marketing, and retail.
Kelly has many creative endeavors including photography, arts & crafts, writing, event planning and some graphic design. Are you enjoying the photography on the Nold Bryant website? That’s Kelly too.
Kelly graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y., with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Professional Photographic Illustration. After graduation, she continued to live in upstate New York for another eight years before moving back to Kansas City in 2011. She’s been a St. Joseph resident since 2015.
Kelly supports numerous charities, including the National Arbor Day Foundation, AFL-CIO, Second Harvest, YWCA, and the Noyes Home. She is a regular blood donor and an active volunteer with Friends of the St. Joseph Animal Shelter, where she serves on the fundraising committee and has led several new initiatives for the organization. Kelly heads donation drives every year for AFL-CIO’s Soles for Christ and Adopt-A-Family programs and a food drive for the animal shelter. She also serves as treasurer on the board of local nonprofit, Outside 45.
Kelly lives in St. Joseph with her husband, Brent, and their children, Bernie and Wally. A fitness enthusiast, she enjoys strength training, kickboxing, running, and cycling. She and Brent also own Tubes Bike Shop, which keeps their family even more connected to the local outdoor and cycling community. Always active, you can find Kelly traveling, cooking, reading, building Legos with her sons, exploring the trails and natural spaces around St. Joseph, spending time outdoors with her family, and in the summer visiting lakes in Missouri and Wisconsin.
